    Function hasSignatureExtractor

    • Whether this document type's signatures can be read structurally at all.

      extractEmrSignatures returns [] for two very different reasons, and the array alone cannot tell them apart: the type is covered and the document is genuinely unsigned, or the type is not covered and we have no idea. Callers that persist or report on signatures must branch on this first — treating [] from an uncovered type as "unsigned" turns a signed consent form into a false compliance answer.
