Resolve the progress denominator without a second round trip: the run row already
carries template_snapshot, so the annotation count is read straight out of it.
Reading is deliberately structural (an annotations array) rather than
snapshotVersion-gated, so a future snapshot bump keeps reporting progress instead of
silently degrading to the answers fallback.
